Should be much stronger for the price
By Kyle Walker
The awning comes in two parts the frame and the canopy. The canopy must be installed and removed each time it is used which is not easy as the canopy is very snug and taunt. I purchased this awning on Sept 9th and it collapsed Sept 25th during a gust of wind. It was a sunny day and the wind might have gusted to 15mph but it was not sustained by any means. I had my window open in the office and looked out to see the awning caving in. I wish I had not weighted it down as the wind might have just tipped it over rather then crushing it. I had to bend it back just to get it to close up.
