Fantastic huge tent.
By G. Hatton
I was looking for a big tent for my family, which consists of myself, wife, daughter and English mastiff. This tent did not disappoint and after weeks of research and mind changes i decided to go with this one and its quite simply brilliant. We can fit a queen size mattress and a children's single mattress in the sleeping area and the vestibule offers another great space for your belongings, like cool box dirty boots, whatever you like, i will be using for my dogs sleeping area, which is ample for him and he is 160lbs and loves to spread out!Setting the tent up was a doddle, i had my wife help me the first time and it took us 30mins, we could probably do it quicker now and i can do it on my own. I would recommend this tent to anyone and plan to buy a 2 man Chinook for solo trips. I am shocked this tent doesn't have more buys and more reviews because its superb. The structure is sound and watertight, not been in any serious weather with it yet but my trip in two weeks might change that so i will update on the progress of the tent then.

great tent
By happycamper
This tent is very stable in high winds , One person can set it up but two is better. I like the removable floor option alot because you can be out of the weather to cook on a stove and not have to worry about spills , and you have a place to leave muddy boots if the weather is bad ! excellent size for two people with gear . High quality at a good price. This is my forth tent and my favorite !!

Family of 4 - Scouting & Camping Tent
By KBol
The Chinook Twin Peaks serves this family of 4 well. Two young Scouts and 2 adults. The vestibule is large enough for 2 small folding tables and 4 small camping chairs with a medium cooler and boot box.The sleeping dome is large enough for 2 full sized air matresses side by side. This works really well when the matresses are "joined" by using a split bed gap cover and larger over sheet. There was sufficient room at the foot of the matress bed to get dressed as well as store a couple smallish backpacks. When deployed with the rain cover, the tent is incredibly stout and remains reasonably cool in the summer.First time setup took 30 minutes (always do a complete setup at home before heading out to the intended campsite). The second time, I had this thing fully deployed in less then 10 minutes (solo). Breakdown and stowage took approximately 15 minutes (again solo).I recommend using a ground tarp under the tent in areas with sharp rocks, twigs or whatnot to help protect the floor from punctures. We experienced none, but I have always used a base-tarp and continue to do so with this bunk. This product also packs up into a rather compact roll for its size. This family was very impressed with this product and its price.I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a decent sized, medium weight, high quality, multi-person tent.
