Love this tent! My favorite thing about this tent is that you wake up in the morning and you stare at a beautiful light blue color (the tent is white and the rain flap is blue), it was very relaxing. The rain flap is perfect if you easily get cold because it goes all the way to the floor and insulates the tent at night. There are two windows, which the rain flap can cover or has the option to leave open. The vestibule area is very spacious, we had two camping chairs in it during the peak heat of the day and two dogs, yet it was still perfectly comfortable. There are two zippered doors on the vestibule area, which makes it nice for air flow and shade if you get a campsite with few/no trees. You can still enjoy the nature around you and feel protected from the sun. We easily stored all of our camping gear in the vestibule area while we were exploring the area and it was well hidden from sight. Our two large dogs slept comfortably in the vestibule area and had no idea they were not "inside" the tent.We did not test this tent in the rain yet, but the design seems like it was made with that in mind. There are lots of options for staking the rain flap so that it would allow for rain to fall away from the tent. There is even a flap on the front of the vestibule door, which seems like it would act to keep the vestibule door dry if it was rolled up.The set up was a breeze, although it is a tall tent, so it is best if you have at least two people setting it up. Very sturdy tent poles. The zippers are great, there are even flaps to protect the zippers from letting rain in the tent. Sometimes these snagged a bit when getting in and out, but not too bad and just learned to be careful. The zipper flaps have velcro to keep them extra secure. I am very satisfied!

I recently rode out a severe thunderstorm in this tent. High winds and heavy rain would have smashed lesser tents. I stayed dry. The tarp bathtub bottom kept the water at bay. Wtih the vestibule, I was able to sit in the tent with the door open and watch a river of water flowing under the tent. Also keeps it warm with the rain fly going all the way to the ground. Only darwback would be that the windows on the fly can only be opened on the outside with no cover on the inside.

I have a family of 5 so I needed a tent that I could put up myself when my husband could not join my 3 boys and I but that also could fit him if he could join us. They are ages 10 - 7 and with my husband it is a tight squeeze but doable unless you wanted to put someone across the top by everyones heads or at the bottom by everyones feet. I imagine when my children are older it wont work as well but then again I think I will have a tent just for them.Pros: Love the porch feature. Great for hiding away chairs, ice chests, etc. while you are out for a hike. Also if you brought an extra tarp or mat for the ground it is a great mud room to keep the interior of your tent clean. Nice high walls on the floor so I would think accidentally camping in a low spot on a heavy rain you would still be alright (if you waterproofed) and the bottom seems well constructed and heavy duty. Can be set up by a single adult, although it would be much nicer to have help. Rain fly goes all the way to the ground. If you are camping in cold weather it could be quite comfortable as the windows are small and high.Cons: If you do not zip the porch up at night the dew collects on the ceiling of the "porch" and is quite a ...ahem...refreshing way to wake up in the morning. They also do not provide any type of mat or small tarp to keep from tracking in mud to your tent, so you will need to provide your own (something I did not think of until after we were camping). The screen part to my door ripped at the seem on our first trip out..now this could of been the fault of one of my boys (they aren't telling) but still I need something that can hold up to tripping, rowdy boys more than 1 day. The windows are tiny and high up and as I mentioned if you don't zip up the porch it gets dew, so it can and will get quite warm in there with no ventilation. Seeing as I am not a huge fan of cold weather this is going to be an issue for us. I need a cross breeze! As I said above it CAN be set up by a single adult but notice I did not say easily. I realize that having a tent with a few extra features will take more effort but on a road trip where we may only be camping for 1 night at a time per place I need something I can unpack, set-up, and re-pack with ease. I would not qualify this particular tent as one of those, although certainly not the most complicated tent I have ever set up.
