Nemo Obi 2P. Great tent
By Vince
Purchased this tent after doing a lot of researching on 2P tents. I had other choices in mine such as the Big Agnes Seedhouse SL2, REI Quarter dome, REI Passage, MSR Hubba, etc etc and this was the only one that fit my want list. Each tent listed has their ups and downs. They all had more room than the Nemo since the Nemo is quite small for a 2P tent however it wins in weight. The SL2 tent is lighter than the Obi however it only has 1 door and vestibule and the door is on the front of the tent compared to the 2 doors and 2 vestibules. This added several ounces for more storage room + doors is good incase i decide to take someone with me camping. Also the tub is higher on the Obi vs the SL2The other tents like the quarter dome, passage, hubba hubba uses multiple poles on its tent vs the single pole system that the Obi one has which aids in quicker assembly. The Obi also uses jakefoot things that is really nice since its hard plastic and everything connects on it (Tent, pole, fly, and foot print) It keeps everything nice and tight and is better than using grommets. The ups:-light weight design-2 doors and vestibules-durable jakefoots-quality fabrics for tub and fly-single double Y pole = quicker setup-packs small-clever loops placed on tent used to connect with vestibule to increase inside volume-visually look slike a high quality tent-DAC featherlight polesThe downsides:-Small 2P tent.-pole holder sheath is a tight fit

Different from the rest
By Art B.
I purchased my Obi 2 from HumbleOutdoors for about $270. it came with a free Nemo footprint. My Obi 2 tent is the black belt martial artist of 2 man tents. It's a finely tuned instruments, with not one ounce of material wasted. At just three lbs it my champ for kayak and backpack camping, I'm thrilled each time I use it.
