A wonderful tent.
By R. Blass
I bought this tent 5 months ago and have stayed in it a dozen times, in varying weather and terrain. My first impression of the tent was that it was of very high quality, the workmanship and materials are top notch. Set up could not be easier or faster. The air beam is easy to inflate and takes no longer than 30 seconds. After tensioning the tent, it is very sturdy and I have no reservations using it in the backwoods. Taking the tent down is just as fast and love the fact I can break camp so quickly. The weight and size are also a huge plus, with a compression sack I can get the whole tent as small as a cantaloupe. The space inside is where this tent excels it is huge and is very comfortable. I am 5 10 and can sit up at the air beam. I went through a pretty bad Florida storm in this tent with high winds and supstantial rain. The tent did excellent in the wind and did not fold on me at all. It also kept me very dry there where no problems with water inside the tent at all. As for condensation (which is a problem most the time for me in Florida) there was very little and no more than a double wall tent, I think this can be attributed to the clever design. There are vents on both ends of the tent and they do a great job of ventilation. Overall I love this tent and it does just what it is supposed to with out the clutter of tent poles. I would purchase this again and have no issues with the air pole. I do not believe the price is steep for what you get. I could not disagree more with the 1 star review given by the other reviewer.

Good idea, not there yet.

I was really excited to see a pole-less tent specifically marketed towards motorcyclists.I bought this to try on a baja trip coming up and have taken it for a few tests. The tent sets up easily enough, although it has almost no structural integrity unless you really do a great job staking it down.Unfortunately this can be more difficult than it sounds depending on the terrain. This, of course, is the trade-off with going pole-less so it packs up tiny.I was disappointed in the overall quality of the stitching and the way the footprint attaches to the tent and the connectors in general. It is not nearly as nice as the sierra designs tents that I am used to.I also had a couple simple questions about the tent so I've tried to contact their technical support.Getting any responses out of their staff has been difficult, and when they do respond they won't leave you with the impression that they are happy to have you as a customer. For a $300 tent this is pretty inexcusable. If not, for this I probably would have given it a 3-star.Bottom line: neat idea with promise, but i'd wait for a someone to do it right.
